Meera graduated with distinctions in restorative dentistry, oral surgery and pediatric dentistry from the University of Bristol in 2012. She was presented with the highest award in the field of Restorative Dentistry for her clinical and academic abilities. She has since gained extensive experience in various hospital positions in oral surgery, periodontics and prosthodontics in addition to general practice.
Meera is a firm believer in continuously developing her knowledge and skills which led her train as a specialist in Prosthodontics at King’s College, Guy’s Hospital.
She takes pride in her empathetic, holistic approach and feedback from her patients highlight her kind, caring nature and her attention to detail.
In her spare time Meera enjoys traveling, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.

Nix is the owner of Wheathampstead Dental Surgery. He graduated from University of Bristol over 10 years ago and has since completed his qualification in the Membership of the Faculty of General Surgeons. Nix has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of general dentistry and has the natural ability to put patients who may be nervous at ease.

He is passionate in ensuring the practice develops in a way to improve the patent’s overall experience from the time they enter the front door. Since taking over the practice, Nix has worked rigorously at developing the services the practice has to offer and keeping paces with the advances in dentistry.

He has a particularly keen interest in complex endodontic treatment (root canal work) as well as in cosmetic dentistry – in particular straightening teeth using various orthodontic systems.

In his spare time he enjoys travel, especially to places like India and Kenya.

Arjun qualified from Cardiff University having been awarded the Louis Cohen prize for Anatomy. He continued his postgraduate education in Leamington Spa whilst working in practice, before moving to train at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London. This enabled him to carry out more complex treatment and confidently meet the needs of anxious patients. After his training, Arjun was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in London.

He is currently undertaking a course in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry in London, allowing him to deliver the highest standards of care to his patients.

In his spare time, Arjun likes to challenge himself outside of dentistry. He has completed the London Marathon and more recently the Royal Parks Half Marathon. On a lighter note, he loves to travel, and if he runs late it’s usually because he was talking to his patient about their most recent travel recommendations!

Dr Christina Kotsiopoulou qualified from the Dental School of the University of Athens in 2014 and quickly discovered a passion for saving teeth. After gaining experience as a volunteer dentist in the Greek Military Dental Department and in a specialist endodontic practice in Athens, she moved to the UK in 2016.
Since then, Christina has been practising general dentistry with a special interest in root canal treatments, using operating microscopes and high-magnification loupes to deliver precise, gentle, and predictable care.
Her enthusiasm for endodontics led her to complete a three-year MSc in Endodontics at the prestigious Queen Mary University of London, graduating in 2022. She now accepts root canal referrals within the practice and takes great pride in helping patients keep their natural teeth whenever possible.
Christina believes dentistry should feel calm, caring, and reassuring. She is known for her gentle approach and for taking the time to explain treatments clearly, helping even the most nervous patients feel comfortable and confident.
She is passionate about continuous learning and regularly attends courses and hands-on workshops in the UK and Greece to stay up to date with the latest advances in modern dentistry and endodontics.
Christina speaks Greek (native), English, Spanish, and French, and has a basic knowledge of Mandarin.
Outside the clinic, Christina enjoys working out, travelling, reading — and most of all, spending quality time with her little daughter.
Fun fact: Christina has a serious sweet tooth but spends her days helping patients keep their smiles healthy! 🦷✨
